Maddie was being all thoughtful when she didn't really want to be thoughtful. She'd had an... interesting week, sure, but she'd been able to feel sort of normal, settling in to a new school and meeting new people and getting to feel lazy because she wasn't training. Tony's room was not on the 2nd floor, but that wasn't stopping him from wandering the hallways in search of food to scavenge. Look, he was a starving teenager. And was not allowed near an oven in a cooking capacity.

Having found no food, he took the moment to mourn for his caloric intake and meet one of the new people. "Hey."
