During the first season of Supernatural, I compiled a series of songs that fit the mood of where the show was going. I enjoyed doing it, my friends seemed to like the CDs, and I kept on doing it.
So here's my master list of Michelle's Supernatural Mixes - one per season.
Season 1Remember when Sam and Dean saved people and hunted things? Without demonic involvement or Divine Intervention? The good ol' days, with CCR, Kansas, and some Green Day thrown in for good measure.
Season 2Death, secrets, and the YED's twisted version of American Idol. Season 2 got heavy and fleshed out the show, with some REO, the Animals, and Johnny Cash.
Season 3Dean went to the crossroads, got down on his knees, and now he's bound for Hell. Season 3 may only have had sixteen episodes, but it will stand out as the season of Rubella, sparkly knives, sing-alongs, and Jared finding out that he's secretly a unicorn.
Season 4Angels and demons and apocalypses, oh my! Supernatural came back with a vengeance in its fourth season, and, even with a lack of that classic rock, the ratings showed it. AC/DC, Johnny Cash, and even Criss Angel help bring the season to life through song. Yeah, I know that was cheesy.
Season 5The Devil didn't go down to Georgia, but he still played a major part in this season, and it shows, with songs from Poet of the Fall, Taylor Swift, Adam Lambert, and Queen.
