Awww! <3 I love the way you write those two together! I want this to be my personal canon, lol. Sure beats dealing with bendy chick and a gorgeous but unresponsive vessel laying on the floor that people seem loathe to revive :P

I think I about died with the waffles... and Dean watching him while he slept. I mean, their relationship just screams co-dependent to me no matter what and that should totally mess things up, but it doesn't. I almost think Dean NEEDS a co-dependent relationship, and so would Nick. I guess that's why they work so well together.

Man, now I wish I was a good enough artist to draw that waffle scene... because a picture of those two eating waffles together would be AMAZING :P And now my brain is coming up with waffle syrup laced smut and I don't need to follow that train of thought...

(Oh yeah, forgot to mention the Lost thing! Too bad there's no movie night square on either of ours... I think they need to grab the DVDs and snuggle up to watch Jacob Lost :D I wonder what Nick would

In my head, Nick asked for waffles with the same enthusiasm that Donkey from Shrek offers to make them. IDK why, that's just the way it happened in my brain. And I think Dean needs to feel needed because, in his mind, as soon as his usefulness ends, he's expendable. As long as he's bringing something to the table, people will put up with him. It's really sad, actually.

And the Lost thin will come up later, too. Poor Nick. He just wants to know whether the island is really Purgatory.

LOL! Awww... Nick being enthusiastic about waffles is just adorable. Almost makes me wish you had the erotic feeding prompt on yours (yes I stalked the prompt master list) so one of them could accidentally wind up with syrup on their cheek/neck/jaw/whatever and discover fun ways of cleaning it up. I bet he'd be even MORE enthusiastic about waffles then :P

But yeah, you're right about Dean... I don't think he can exist without being needed. I don't think he knows how to function. His whole life has essentially been driven by orders given to him and what other people needed him to do. To lose that completely would leave him completely lost. His self esteem really leaves much to be desired... I think that's one of the reasons I like Dean so much.

LOL! Oh man, Nick watching Lost... I have to imagine that'll blow his mind :P Is Dean going to have a man crush on Jacob now too, thanks to his new found love for Nick?

I love the Lost thing xD But I wanted to give Dean a huge gigantic hug when he was getting hopeful that someone would settle for him. Poor bb, he's so broken ;( (And so is Nick, but even though Nick is broken inside and out, Dean's been broken, like, his whole life. ANGSTY ANGSTY ANGST.)
