Dear Brain... WTF?
I have wanted a musical episode of Supernatural since the first season. Learning that Jensen can sing made me want it more. Learning that Katie Cassidy can, apparently, sing made me want it more. Learning that Rob was in a band made me want it more. Learning that Mark could sing made me want it times infinity.
So here's my proposition because I just know Kripke is still stalking me. How'd Corporeal - I mean In My Time of Dying - work out for you, Krip? : It's a Trickster. It was always a Trickster's fault in my head, except now... Sam, Dean, Cas, Gabriel, Michael (probably in Adam - sorry, haters), Lucifer, and Chuck wind up trapped inside a musical by a Trickster. An actual Trickster. See, the world is in chaos, with angels, demons, ghosts, and gods all jockeying for position, and she wants it to stop. She wants it to never happen again (or he, IDC either way), so s/he has brought back a couple of archangels, given them vessels, pulled God off His cloud, and trapped them with the Winchesters and Cas to sing about their feelings. Because that's what happens in musicals. Bonus points if the episode starts with Sam and Dean being roused from sleep by Lucifer standing outside their window with a guitar and singing "You Belong With Me." Also, Lucifer/Michael duet on "Defying Gravity." Sam can sing "Rehab."
This is why I should never be allowed to watch Glee. Ever.
