Rest of this week's menu plan:

Tonight: Steak sandwiches on rye bread (got a freezer full of free bread from a friend who has a friend working in a fancy bakery) with a garden salad
Tuesday: Vegie fritters, broccoli & green beans
Wednesday: Dhal & rice (soccer training - make the dhal in advance and put rice on in TMX the minute we get home)
Thursday: Pasta e fagioli (pasta and beans - didn't end up making this one last week as I forgot to soak the beans, kids just had plain pasta!)
Friday: Chicken fried rice
