Argh, random boring things are all I have to post about.
I need to sort out winter clothes for the kids - I think they've all pretty much outgrown everything they had last winter, although a few things can be handed down. I need to unpack the boxes and check. Then Emma's needs to be sorted out over the school holidays, because she's really fussy and needs to try clothes on. The last few times I've bought her jeans she's refused to wear them, saying they're uncomfortable. Unfortunately I think ALL girls' jeans will be this way, with the stupid 'low-rise' styling ... I'm thinking I might get her to try on some boys' jeans instead.
Alastair got a few long-sleeved shirts for his birthday, but needs some pants - I'm limited to adjustable-waist ones there as he needs a size 4 in length but has no bum to hold them up.
Evie is also a problem. She's too tall/big for size 1, but size 2 pants are mostly made without room for a nappy, particularly a cloth one. I should just make some. Which reminds me, at soccer practice this week she was trying to crawl under a fence and caught her pants on the fence. She tugged and one leg of her pants completely ripped off. LOL. It was hilarious; she couldn't work out what had happened! They were just thin quilting cotton pants I'd made, that's why they ripped so easily.
