I discovered them today in whats left the woodpile. I think I've pretty much decided that we're going to co-exist. They're beneficial to the garden & the kids are going to be on the other side of the fence from them most of the time.
The kids helped water the garden. Caitlin is having issues with sharing.
I transplanted the roses along the new fence for my naural barbed wire. My mom suggested sweet peas for there, too. I bought some & will put them in this week. It's right under our bedroom window, so it'll be good to have something nice smelling there. I found hostas I'd forgotten about on the north side of the house & moved them into the bee corner, along with some ferns I found around. I'm going to ask my mom if she's got some hostas to split, I think... she wants some of my lilies, too (I've got tons & tons) I wonder if bee balm does well in shade? I've got some I could move in there & see.
We got 1 1/2 yards of dirt unloaded & where it need to be. It's days like this that I realize how much more in shape I am than I used to be... I always think "Oh, Im going to be sore tomorrow!" and then I'm not :)
