Weekend
Saturday- BEAUTIFUL day outdoors. I spent a lot of time on the patio. Robert and I also went over to Chesterton Feed to pick up some plant soap (whitefly problem on the Hibiscus that was at school) and I found a cute puppy pillow to keep at our house and another pretty plant for by the mailbox.
Last evening the kids and pups stopped by as we were watching Capote. (Good, though depressing, movie) The kids left the pups with us for a bit while they went grocery shopping.
That was very nice... but little Gala decided to be a pistol and climbed up onto our kitchen table (via a chair that got left out)... she ate the bit of leftover peanut brittle belonging to Robert (I think that upset him the most), and took one of the (not very delicious) leftover hollow chocolate Easter Eggs into the living room, unwrapped it from the pretty foil and ate it. (chocolate = bad for dogs!) She then grabbed the second egg (they were too pretty to throw away... darn it!) and brought it to me! As we panicked and went looking for the other egg she ate a bit of my tossed salad and licked a layer off of the top of the butter tub. (It appears that she has a thing for butter... not the first incident of this sort...)
Please be okay Gala! I'm very worried that the kids won't let us puppy sit again... :-(((
I'm supposed to see christinA and the pups again today...
I need to go do some things!
Robert took a day trip to the river to mow and put in the water pump. (and fish I am sure!)
I really want to see Over the Hedge!!! I do, I do, I do.
