This takes a lot of work!

I saw that Lynda had this meme as a post and I thought it was pretty neat. Sooo... I went to the sight, did the search and then I copied and pasted it into a word processing program.... ok... not too bad. BUT when I tried to copy and paste my editing into here I suddenly realized that I would need to do all of the html ( Read more... )

I ended up doing mine as a word doc and then copy and paste it into the rich text LJ posting window. Would that work for you on the mac?

Rich text posting window?

Somehow I don't think so... ?

It's ok... as you can see, it's done. I had fun doing it, really.

Nope... no can do. I clicked on the rich text link thingy and it said "SORRY LADY, YOUR BROWSER STINKS!"

Ok... not those exact words but that's the idea it expressed to me.

Your clock is wrong...

I am surprised by some of your choices, but I do remember starting a very short lived 'Freddie and the Dreamers' fan club.

OH and by the way, it's "Hang on SLOOPY!" Snoopy was Charlie Brown's dog. Sloopy is a girl who lives in a very bad part of town, and she has long hair that needs to be let down...

Miss Mollie...

I did not write the names on that site. Obviously they don't know the name and truthfully I did not notice. I do know that information, honest!

I don't know what you mean about my clock being wrong. It's perfectly on our time... even with our atomic clock, if you are talking about the computer one.
I have no control over the Live Journal clock. I believe it is set on west coast time.

Well, Hey, I was teasing you about the 'snoopy' stuff. I know you didn't type them. As for your clock, for some reason you are always on the next day...

Sometimes with writing, it's difficult to 'see' the body language. Right now your clock says Sunday, 8:20 a.m. Where I am it's Still Saturday.

That's all I meant.

Hummm... I had not noticed that. I don't think I have any control over what time/day the journal posts for me, or do I? My computer's clock is right. I wonder what it will put when I post this. I don't see anywhere to change it.

I'm not offended. I was a bit surprised. Then I was curious.

I fixed that! I did know that but I have to say that I think when I first heard the song I did think he was singing "Snoopy".

I fixed a couple of other errors too. It was so much to think about when I was trying to hand do all the html. *Silly Macintosh that won't let me use rich text!*

Why are you surprised by my choices? I was alive then, remember? I liked what I liked.

I'm curious. Which ones surprise you?

Okay. Where I am, it is still Saturday. Your journal clock says it's Sunday. Now...Indiana is behind NYS, I believe. That's all I meant.

I wasn't questioning your taste. I am a Beach Boys fan, (or more rightly, a Brian Wilson fan). Some of your choices didn't go with the mental picture I had formed of you, I guess. Like the Sonny and Cher stuff.

I hope you didn't take any offense. None was meant, most certainly.

Sonny and Cher? I did like them. I used to watch their show on TV! (maybe it was to see all of the outrageous outfits?)

I think I tended to go for *cute* music at times, but I actually still like Freddy and the Dreamers. :-) It's happy music... maybe that's why.

My journal clock is goofy, but I don't know why or how to fix it. My computer clock is fine.
