I watched The March of the Wooden Soldiers for the first time this morning. My dad put it on and said it was tradition to watch it, and was totally blown when my sisters and I told him we don't remember it. It was actually good! XD When the soldiers started marching, my dad got all excited and told us about how when he was little, he would grab a broom and march along with them and how cool and awesome it was. I have to admit that that was really good animation for back then. Then the music changed when they started to attack, and my dad was like 'This is the best part of the movie, you guys, pay attention!!' The 6-foot toy soldier army beating up the 'boogiemen' was actually an interesting scene. Some parts were creepy, though. Like how they bust through houses and doors, and one of them lost his head but kept going... through a house... >_> There were some cute parts in that scene too since they didn't hurt children. In one part, a soldier chases a boogieman who had kidnapped a little girl and ran into a house, so the soldier follows them into the house, then the boogieman runs out, followed by the still-marching boogieman now giving the little girl a piggy-back ride. X3
