My biggest little bro is making everyone feel old today by turning 30. I spent three hours of last Wednesday evening hanging around my city, in sub-zero temperatures, with maybe a dozen other folk. As part of my birthday celebrations, I managed to get tickets to Enchanted Parks! :O) Wooo.

The annual event takes place in part of a local victorian park, which first opened in 1876, and is billed as: "A Gateshead Winter's Tale" through atmospheric installations, light, sound and performance

Not that I need much of an excuse, especially with all this snow, but we kick-started the Christmas spirit this weekend. Mam and I visited a Christmas Market in town.
