Fangirl Moment: Thea's Angels
I ♥ Thea Gilmore. She is one of the most talented musicians I have had the pleasure of discovering in a long long time. She is awesome live. A year ago she launched "Angels In The Abattoir" - a subscription service allowing us 'fans' to be her partners in crime, and help raise funds to allow her to keep artistic independence from the corporates. Thea's eleventh album, which is her second in the 'Angels' project, was released this week... and I received my copy in the post this morning to much excitement. It's all kinds of cool to see your name on a music album; even if it is just for believing in someone. I have been basking in the aural pleasure of her music for over 10 years, and I am proud to be one of her 'Angels'.
