It seems completely inappropriate to post words about anything today, other than to condemn the horrendous murder of Stuart Walker at the weekend. The 28 year-old was beaten, burned, and left tied to a lamppost in a likely homophobic attack in Ayrshire, Scotland. Regardless of sexuality, or anything else, this should not to anyone. It is horrific, and all my love goes out to his friends and family.

I did not particularly want to engage in a 140 character word war justifying my original message, so I quoted his message and told him he'd missed the point entirely, politely telling him to "think about it". Gah! People. I was as outraged with him as I was to the fact that this story was not even mentioned on the headline news tonight...
