I hate Joe's new job.. Chris is so selfish.. he expects so much from Joe, and he can't say no. It's put a huge strain on our marriage.. and Joe says things like 'This is my new job now, like it or not' and 'I wouldn't be able to make this much money somewhere else' but I don't give a shit about the money.. which by the way we haven't seen much of ( Read more... )

he's taking over josh/robert's position of chef/partner.. we are trying so hard to change the whole system for good.. but chris just won't budge! he is so set in his ways and none of our ideas or effort get us anywhere (i'm sure you're familiar with this) we actually tried to buy it from him because he's focusing on his new place. his response was 'but you guys will get to manage it when i leave' and that's not what we want! we want to have a separate entity.. one that has nothing to do with him. that place just has so much potential, and i just hate to see it go under because we don't have the power to change it. he doesn't care about the place at all.. i don't understand why he wants to keep it.

p.s. mojitos and thrifting sound like heaven!

he doesn't want another job.. and it's so frustrating! it's still a transitional phase.. and hopefully things will get better. it's just been a rough few weeks.

yeah..well..I guess now that times are tough and everyone is trying to penny pinch, the better the money...the better things go. Just wish jobs wouldn't be so crappy and treat people so...little. Yeah...maybe since it is a transitional phase...this isn't how it's going to be forever...just try to not let it get the best..(I know, easier said then done...) but at least he wasn't like the guy I am living with..he worked for his dad and at 11 at night, his dad would come in, say hey we work in the morning at 6...they basically were plumbers..sheeeesh...talk about a horrible transition that was.
