girl!Naru, girl!Sasu (mini-rant)
So, I was just looking through ff.net trying to find something to read and...why am I finding so many girl!Sasu, girl!Naru stories? ff.net is chock-full of them! And sometimes people put up a 'yaoi' warning, why? Because girl!Naru is really a hemaphrodite?
I don't get, I really don't. What's so appealing about making the two of them female? Is it just for those who are secretly homophobes but don't want to admit it to themselves so they write about two guys but change one's gender? They love the characters but not the fact that one of them is male (that is part of his character!)? If you want to write het for Naruto for god's sake make a story about Naru/Hina or SasuSaku, leave my boys alone as boys!
I don't know, it just baffles me. And they're so popular too! I know Naruto's sexy no jutsu allows him to change into a girl but then he always turns back into a guy because he is one, not the other way round!. I just, don't even...what the hell? I mean really? :(
