Falling ...

This is so vile and so familiar that I'm almost crying for you. Yes I too have had falls, indoors and outdoors.

Do you really have to walk to your taxi? Here in England I can summon them to my home, workplace or wherever I am, by phone. As for that driver grabbing at your wheeled frame and moving it too fast for you, then verbally abusing you for not being able to walk upright, I say he was downright unprofessional. If you happen to remember his ID number you could report him to his company for that behaviour. Even if you don't know his number I think you could report him. I've done that a few times: although most of the taxi drivers are excellent a few of them are not.

Anyway sister, you're not alone with this MS shite. I do hope you're following up all ideas for the support you're entitled to, so far as your energy levels let you do that, and I'm glad that you have Per by your side. Is he your husband?

A former colleague of mine has recently started to use a wheeled walking frame, not due to MS but we compare notes! Hers is called Alice and apparently I'm the first person to have remarked that the frame should be purple. (Alice Walker, The Colour Purple.)
