Wow!!! That was awesome! You've blended these 3 sources so amazingly well, I have no idea where one ends & another begins. It really looks like it's all from the same source! I've seen Underworld many times, but have only seen the pilot of Moonlight (and haven't seen this version of Dracula at all). You've constructed a narrative that is absolutely 100% believable! Wow. I'm going to have to watch that a few more times because I feel like there was a bunch of stuff I missed.
I love your editing style here. And I love how you've desaturated the footage (and even black & white in places). It makes the occasional shots of full color really pop! Particularly when that color is blood red, such as at 1:48 or 2:55. Wow.
Vampire!Sophia Myles is a badass. I would totally watch this Vampire Sophia Myles show. *g*
Btw, I found it interesting that you felt the need to clarify that it isn't a crossover or multi-fandom video. Personally, I would use either of those terms to describe this video, but since starting this community, I've come to realize that there are a lot of different (and often very specific) definitions out there. Like I mentioned before, if it uses 2 or more different & unrelated sources, then it's absolutely welcome here. More & more I'm leaning towards the term multi-sourced. Anyway, I just wanted to reassure you that in the future you don't need to put that disclaimer on a video like this. Unless you want to, of course. :)
Well, for me a crossover would have been if Mick had met Erika (that's Sophia's Underworld character). Multifandom would have been if you have the storyline of Mick and Beth on one side and Erika and I-forgot-his-name on the other. This is neither. Like you said, it's really more multi-sourced than multidanfom in a way.
Your video has actually sparked a discussion on this topic in my journal here and here. Based on opinions so far, I think this comm may need some clarification as to its purpose. I've been labeling videos as multi-fandom in terms of their technical construction rather than the final product's narrative intent. I'd love to invite you over to those posts to get your input.
