A quick note to let you know that the new comment pages do, in fact, suck all the balls, but we are not planning to move the game over to Dreamwidth. The mod team is hopeful that the LJ admin team either rollback the change or offer an opt-out.

If that's not forthcoming, then we may consider moving.

Well, I felt a bit wary when I first read this, since I hadn't heard of Dreamwidth, and then...and then I realized...the login page is not mac compatable. I was only able to log in when I turned on windows compatability mode.

Ah, I am entirely unsurprised.

If you use Firefox, the LJlogin plugin should take care of that.

I don't, but yeah...it's a bit ridiculous to make a site unusable to some users.

Update: They at least fixed that bug, so I'm able to log out without compatibility mode, at least. Still open to moving, but at least I can work with it like this until something happens one way or the other.
