Feral Werewolf Cornered in Barrackham BakeshopShundi morning had a nasty surprise in store for Sharabell Murat, 38, and her wife as they went to open their shop. Something had broken the cellar door and made a mess out of the stock room. "There were large paw prints in the flour all over," said Sharabell Murat. "The burglar had ripped open several sacks of the stuff. My wife went to get the Sheriff while I stayed behind to assess the damage. That's when I saw a large naked man sleeping by the oven. I whacked him with the bread peel a few times and when he woke up he just growled at me so I hurried up and closed the door again."
It's not clear who the werewolf is or why he had chosen to break into a bakery. If anyone knows of a missing werewolf, they are encouraged to contact the Barrackham Sheriff's Office.
Bloody Sunday Remains Bloody StubbornIn the wake of resent public outcries and loud lobbying from various groups of concerned citizens that has seen the closure of many crurovore centred shops and eateries, Bloody Sunday in Mafaton stays open. "We've seen worse trouble than this, and we're not closing," said a server who went on to explain that the proprietor, Vinegar Tom, age unknown, was not available for interview. "This is a family friendly establishment. We want everyone who steps through our doors to feel perfectly safe in doing so." The Bloody Sunday was also a contributor to the pro-cruro rally earlier this week.
FIENDS FLAUNT SHAMELESSNESSIn a total violation of both decency and sense, Baedal's fiends threw something between a riot and an orgy on Sukkardi, Velldaren 17th. In direct response to the concerns of Baedal's law-abiding, ethical majority, these creatures gathered in force to illustrate how little they care for the safety and well-being of anyone but themselves. They even stooped so low as to drag regular citizen into their farcical 'protest' - both perverted hangers-on who attended by choice and innocent bystanders that fell sway to the beasts' penchant for mind-control. Such a spectacle should make all healthy, normal citizens sick, even without the predictable, mindless violence that capped the evening.
Cruorvore Protest Is Mostly PeacefulCrurovores and their supporters gathered Sukkardi evening to protest the growing movement to curtail their food supply and demonize even those who live peacefully among their fellow citizens. Various figures in the community, both cruorvore and human, spoke on the need for co-existence and understanding. Late in the evening, there was a small disturbance as hecklers became bolder and more agitated, but the milita was on hand to deal with any troublemakers. Overall, the event both successfully raised awareness and served to show that the civic-minded among us can join in peaceful discussion, no matter our species.
