We aren't ready...
For a real trial tomorrow, so we ain't going. Seeger had a tooth extracted this week, which bleeds every time he grabs a toy. He got no practice or exercise the past few days, since it rained and I had a board meeting Friday and Saturday. It would be a disapointing experience to say the least.
He's still my sweet man who loves to cuddle and who I just adore. He needs more exposure and time to grow up, so we'll be doung lots and lits of fun matches. He will be entered in the CAT trial as will Mayzie AND Roper, but just one day. I'm looking forward to that. And, I signed him up for a three day camp in Bend this summer in Bend. The instructors use Greg Derritt system from what I remember, but its mostly for exposure. I don't follow a set system, I do what it takes to get my fat ass around a course, haha. Mayzie will be my back up dog. Then I'll visit my dad for a few days, then to disc camp, my new found passion. Roper is the main focus there, though Seeger seems to love it and will get a private if I can manage it. I need to work on get him some air when he catches. I have a couple of school/union related conferences I'll go to this summer, which will be no dogs, but I hope to get Seeger ready to actually conpete by fall. He is a prwtty jumper, but we will stay at 20", which works well for him.
