Phoning It In
I realized yesterday that all these extra curriculars are just that much more work because I'm not "phoning it in" to any of them. I can't just show up at band and play a section part. I can't just go to weekly orchestra rehearsals and "pick up my part" as we go. I can't go to an arts alliance meeting and simply enjoy what's going on and throw in my two cents every now and then. I can't just go to a reenactment and be "one of the musicians."
My new goal, in addition to quitting some things (although I accidentally joined a new group Sunday, I think), is to determine some groups I can "phone it in" with. We'll see how that goes...
