Perspectives and semantics being the major difference is pretty much the same thing I walked away with from your essay, as well, but thank you for the additional clarification.

At any rate, here is our two cents. We're not aspects. She's not my inner raver, any more than I am her inner metalhead.
Here are some practical examples:
If I for some reason decide to wave a glowstick around, it's me waving the glowstick, rather than her. If she decides she wants to wave said glowstick, we switch, and she proceeds to wave it around. To change the topic to something more commonly discussed, the whole anger issue. If she thinks I was too rough on someone in a fit of anger, she'll tell me, and it will be her telling me. If I later calm down, and no longer feel my actions were excusable, I'll feel as though I was wrong. She is not my compassionate side, nor am I her rage. We come with our own little angels and devils on our shoulders. Me being amoral, is different from her being amoral, just as me being nice, is different from her being nice ( ... )

At any rate, here is my two cents. You're thinking about this in a way that does not necessarilly apply to all systems. The other people are not by necessity aspects which have gotten to the point of being other selves, although in some cases, that may be exactly what happens ( ... )
