Considering a new release

Jul 16, 2008 00:09

At least, I've been playing around with some new code over here, and at the moment, it seems to be holding together. New in the coming round will mainly be some bulletproofing regarding error trapping, since MultiLJ does seem to get goofy signals from the LJ server a lot, as well as some minor bug fixes. I've also made some changes in the cosmetics - I'm not a big fan of that, except that there are a couple of things that I'm now supporting, in particular colorizing the Friends List. I also need to update the picture of the application on the multilj page and download page, as things have changed a bit.

So, for those of you who are working with the thing, how is it treating you? Any suggestions? Any complaints? I'm considering a couple of development ideas right now - here they are:

1) an LJ client for Linux/GTK+
2) an LJ archiving program
3) continues intensive work on MultiLJ, such as uploading photos.

I'm kind of taking votes at this point...
