The CONCEPT, Where have all the heroes gone? Gotham's skies no longer glow with the heroic symbol of the Dark Knight. Instead, in the darkness a cackle remains. The Crown Prince of Crime now rules this city, after the coincidental loss of the mayor and most of the law enforcement of the city. Gotham is under mob rule controlled only by the sick mind of the Joker.
Similar stories unfold everywhere. New York is a city of Anarchy. The X mansion is surprisingly quiet, and all around citizens are forced to decide - to hole up and hope for the best, or to fight to find their fallen heroes, or take action from themselves. The question remains. In the darkest era, where do you stand?
