1) Who can I ask to Beta?
Everyone who is not your giftee is fine as a beta reader, just make sure to keep the recpipient of your gift a secret!

One question though, about #2. Just for clarification: are you saying that we're allowed to go ahead and directly post our gifts to our recipients without all the mystery? No guessing who did what, etc? I have no problem with that (it's actually my preference) but I just wanted to make sure that I was reading that answer correctly.
