the rush is almost always short lived, but i still feel dizzy with joy when i'm by his side and he introduces me to his friends, as if he were telling everyone around him that he's happy that i am in his life.

i'm glad when his friends like me back, coz it always makes me think that there's a chance this could actually work out this time.
