Layla was gone. She left Sunday with a stern yet cryptic warning about the future and some pleading not to piss so many people off.
Jamie wasn't sure what she meant by that.
However now he was feeling a tad homesick. So he decided to find an activity that didn't remind him of girls with fans or an "M" tattooed to their faces.
Turns out that activity is playing a medley of Cyndi Lauper tunes on a trombone. Actually? Ten trombones. He would have used all 76 but only ten dupes with trombones fit in his office.
And playing 76 trombones out in the hallway would just be rude.
