10:06 PM 10/29/07 · Normally each week I do a detailed analysis of the episode but I do not have the brain power for it tonight. So, rather than try and do a quick bit in the morning...I'm just gonna comment on what I liked best ever so briefly.
Sylar's lil' threat to Alejandro was nice but I liked the bit he said after he said "even if I don't get my powers back". Think if he grooms her enough he can pass on his talent of taking powers to her?Monica has her own Q, if you catch the James Bond reference. That's cool!Glad Mohinder didn't go over to the darkside.Kinda having an issue believing that Nikki isn't Jessica somehow. Got a very mixed vibe off her. A typical treatment to MPD is a merging of personalities so maybe this Company version of her is an entirely new her...?It bug anybody else, in order to make Monica more comfortable, that Midas didn't identify himself as another emo·sapien to her?Too many had been hoping early on that Mohinder was an emo·sapien too but kinda abandoned that. What if he is? What if his ability is his healing blood? Maybe it's good for more than just this particular bug.Bennet is still hardcore. Kinda take some solace in that.Paintings were interesting. A vial, probably that altered virus that Midas wanted Mohinder to give Monica. Peter was in one of them that we got the briefest of flashes of. Hiro swordfighting Kensei. Someone with a gun and a bandage across his nose. That's all I rememeber now...disadvantage of not taping the episode is can't go back to check.Hiro altered time, or so he believes, by his interruption of that battle. Kensi, left to his own devices, might have eventually discovered his power without Hiro. Thinking that to resolve everything, Hiro might have to go back in time to prevent himself from stopping the battle......or all we're seeing is the actual history, Hiro changed nothing, and the legend of Kensi is an innaccurate retelling of the what we're seeing now.Claire and West are getting more and more interesting to me. Really hoping he's sincere. Still, that prank they pulled on the head cheerleader was a tad extreme.West has a real "I am superior" attitude about him. That and his attitude about how Claire follows her parents rules...I'm beginning to wonder if he has parents. He neatly dodges referring to them specifically or in detail. Okay, maybe a smidge of analysis.
