11:44 AM 8/12/06 · I know there's a number of people that are less than fond of The Batman toon (fools!) but I don't much care because I have some interesting news to share. The last few weeks I've been having a hard time watching it, for any number of reasons...possibly as the schedules been all over the place. I was just about to give up on it altogether, assuming the series had ended with the Batgirl being finally acknowledged by Batman...
...he'd been heavily discouraging her up to that point.
For the Fall season, September 23rd to be exact, Robin will be making an appearance as the (how did he put it?) one and only official part ner of the Batman. The little trailer I saw for this kinda gives the impression that not only is Batgirl less than thrilled about the situation but that Robin is really trying to get rid of her.
Should be interesting.
Check your local listings because as messed up as the scheduling is now there's no telling what it will be like by then.
