I know you were a bit nervous/wary about this fic but it is so beautiful and perfect. You're Aberforth voice is seriously edible I love it so. And the sly hints to their lives, the way you weave worldbuilding into such subtle conversation... your writing will never not completely whelm me.

Ooooooo this is really cool! I really like their dynamic, Aberforth is such a cranky brother. It was just a snippet, but you were able to show so much of their relationship so well :)

this sort of made me want to spend more time with aberforth and aberforth's POV of everything, but especially albus, and that's all due to your lovely way with words. you had me at It's all very epic: Albus Dumbledore shows up at Hog's Head at three in the morning, covered in blood, and politely waits for the door to open, taking care not to drip on the doormat.. I continually forget how beautifully simple and yet very stabbing/on the point sentences you're capable of producing.
