Lost in the time-(web)space continuum

Do you ever have one of those days when time just seems to disappear? Such has been my day. I read an essay for a friend, met my aunt for coffee and that's about all I can really account for. I've done no writing, no reading and haven't watched anything. I didn't go to collect the shelving unit that a friend and I had reserved at Argos. Hmmm... I must have done something! Ahhh... I know what I did! I rejoined an online community - that's where all the time went! How is it that the internet can swallow a whole day without you really noticing it?
