Throwing in the towel
I gave up and called in sick. They made me work today but sent me home right after. The PM came up to help out (which involved a lot of him sitting around and me doing all the work). When I finished the work and there was like 3 hrs of watching the drillers left he let me go home early.
Not that I am bitter... I am bitter.
I then drove back and got a flat in Oakland, one exit from the office. The handle for the jack was missing from the back of the truck. This is important not only for jacking up the car but to release the spare tire from under the truck. As I played cell phone tag and tried to figure out who could pick me up a tow truck shows up. I have not AAA, our company has no AAA. They helped me out anyway. It ends up that the jack handle is sitting ontop of the engine in the hood. Who would have known!
Came home will rest until I feel better.
Oh and Becky had her daughter today!
