So much happening!

I had a fantabulous weekend. Japanese food where you get to cook thin slices of meat in boiling water. A gory horror film (climbing in my mothers attic the next day was a little spookier because of it), a birthday that didn't require lots of decorations and costumes. I like the costumes and everything it's just a lot of effort. I better be more open to it next year, Aaron and Sara were sad there was no theme. They might beat me up if I don't get excited for something next year.

I even made Martial Arts an unprecedented three times last week (Aaron and I went to the beginners class on our birthday!). Embarrassing enough I tore a muscle in my shoulder, not because of doing some crazy cool martial arts, it was doing the push-ups at the end of class for being late.

Lunch with Mother on Saturday which involved me doing chores (attic) but was nice anyway. A really great brunch with Dad and V at this place in the Castro called Eureka. They have Cajun/Southern types of foods. French toast with maraschino cherries and maple syrup and mimosa's to drink! It's on 18th and Castro; open Sundays at 11am for brunch.

This weekend I fly to New York to celebrate Bertram's 95 birthday. He's been donating to and even collecting for the Brooklyn Museum for decades. It's one of his hobbies, anyway his birthday party will be there and the whole family is going to be there (mothers side). It should be really cool. I hope to make it to 95 and have a well known establishment willing to host a birthday party in my honor.

How cool would that be.

Oh there was a cool bar with animatronic Frankenstein and Wolfman and Jacobs Ladders and stuff, I wonder if we can find it again! You can drool Aviatrix1879. The staff dressed up like mad scientists and would sometimes spy on you through picture frames. The bathroom, if I recall, was hidden behind a bookcase.

Of course the company doesn't want all this fun to go to my head so I am writing from Glorious Stockton! Where I spent the day cleaning well vaults! Hooray for work! Of course the other option was to be in Visalia for four days instead of Stockton for two. I still consider myself the winner!

birthday, winner, good eats, horror, new york
