So, here I am in Belize City and it is HOT. I mean whew, it would be stiffling except that I'm inside at the moment next to a fan. Things have been going good so far, things really aren't all that different from when I was last here 6 years ago. But as this is the first family reunion I've been to for a couple of years, yeah I'm not recognizing a lot of faces.

We were at San Pedro for the past couple of days, that's a nice resort town. Nice and small, right next to a coral reef, and the water is as clear as glass. The only real downer has been that randomly it would start to pour like there's no tomorrow, and then a few minutes it would stop like nothing happened. The only time that was real fun though was when we were on jet skis. You'd be blasting along at 60 miles an hour along choppy waves, every so often almost getting thrown off, (or when my cousin was driving, she was able to throw me off) the salt water spray is making it impossible to see, and the rain is coming down in a nice cooling sting. That was the only time I was glad it rained.

Scuba diving was just plain out awesome, or rather, once we got down to the actual scuba diving. Going out to the reef the waves were so huge and choppy that it was inevitable that I got seasick. First time that's happened too. But it's amazing that after you descend twenty feet, all of your seasickness is gone. In addition to scuba diving we went snorkling with the sharks and manta rays, I was able to catch a shark and hold it for a little while. Colin was able to ride one of the bigger ones, and I almost got bit by a moray eel.

So doing some gift shopping I've been able to get some things for people. Like Nick's getting this clay pipe that caught my eye, Swanson's getting these worry dolls that I found, Twiggo's getting this carved manatee that my parents got, while it is rather nice, I'm gonna try and get you something a little more off kilter. Providing I can find something suitable to your tastes.

As for everyone else, I need addresses for postcards! I got a few wooden postcards that were out of the ordinary, but addresses people!

Hope everyone's enjoying my absence and my house.
