Things have been cool these past few days. Got a decent amount of work done for the money, got more planning done for the road trip. Still haven't started on the few movie projects I want to finish this summer....Well, you can't win them all I suppose.
Last night was interesting to say the least, I get a call from Swanson asking if I want to go get the Harry Potter book at Waldenbooks at midnight. I figured, eh, why not. Need to get it sooner or later so why not now. When we get there though, fuck there was a lot of people there. Some that we knew too, like Brett Bently, Neil Jones, Josh Gonzales...But my buddy Josh, he was a hero of the night. Swanson and I were waiting in line for a little bit before we realized that we needed to get a ticket so we could wait in that line. So while we're waiting in line for that ticket, I see josh, who was waaay ahead of where we were waiting previously. So after we get out ticket, just a little joining of old friends that was coincidentally and convientally ahead of about one hundred people. That must have saved us a good hour or so.
As for the book itself, very good. I blew by it pretty quickly though. When I got home at about 1:30 I read till 3, then when I woke up at about 10 or so I read for a little while, had breakfast, then continued reading to about 1:30. So that's about five hours of reading, a personal best I think.
One a more aggravating note, the car's leaking coolant, so I need to get it fixed. Need someone to go with me to westerly for the ride home.
So, who didn't see this coming?
