It has been a long and stressful week. 8 am - 9 pm Wednesday and Thursday, and 8 am to 6 pm Friday. All at COD. Luckily I have tomorrow off, but I do close at the bookstore Tuesday and Wednesday. Here are some other happenings:
I am droping both Education 100 and Choir. Ed 100 because it was a hell of a lot more work than I had planned for, and choir because I need to clear time for work...
Wait, work? Does that mean that Bobby has a STEADY JOB?! Yes boys and girls, for the first time in 4 years I will be getting checks once every 2 weeks and I will no longer be considered "temporary" or "indpendent contractor". I will be racking up 9 hours a week in the COD scene shop. I also get paid from the bookstore this week for the first week of rush. That should be a sweet check.
The Angels of Lemnos, which auditions next Sunday and Monday, has its first production meeting this Wednesday. That's pretty exciting, and it'll be good to be theatrically back in the swing of things.
Even though I won't offically be acting (unless I make Crucible) or singing, I am going to get workouts in both. In Aural Skills I, we have to sing in front of class and train our ear. So that should be a plus. And in Shakespeare class, I get to do a monologue. So that should be fun.
Happy Birthday wishes to Becky Crawford. And Happy Labor Day to the rest of y'all.
