With the school year a mere 3 weeks and 17 hours away (approximately), let me tell you some of the happenings...first of all the 2005-06 COD Student Theatre Season
1) Oct 14 - Oct 30, Guernica One-Acts by Fernando Arrabal, Studio Theatre. The one acts are Guernica, The Labyrinth, and Picnic on the Battlefield. Directed by Kevin Theis.
2) Nov 4 - Nov 13, The Angels of Lemnos by Jim Henry, Theatre 2. Directed by Connie Canaday Howard
3) Dec 9 - Dec 18, The Crucible by Arthur Miller, Theatre 2. Directed by Stuart Carden*
4) Feb 24 - March 12, Measure for Measure by William Shakespeare, Studio Theatre. Directed by Tim Klein
5) April 21 - April 29, Lucky Stiff by Lynn AAhrens and Stephen Flaherty, Mainstage. Directed by Amelia Barrett
*-As listed on the back of the Midsummer program. Mike Fatigato said that this is a typo. Also, Angels of Lemnos is in Theatre 2, not on Mainstage like it says on said program.
Auditions for the first 2 shows are on Sunday, Sept 11 and Monday, Sept 12
I will be ASM-ing one of the first 2 shows, and hopefully auditioning for the middle 2.
Now here is the 2005-06 season for Buffalo Theatre Ensemble, celebrating its 19th season.
1) Sep 23 - Oct 15, Temporary Help by David Wiltse, directed by Connie Canaday Howard. Featuring Amelia Barrett, Kurt Naebig, and Mike Fatigato.
2) Feb 10 - March 4, The Baltimore Waltz by Paula Vogel
3) April 7 - May 6, Visiting Mr. Green by Jeff Baron
4) July 7 - July 29, Communicating Doors by Alan Ayckbourn^
^-Connie Canaday Howard is supposedly acting in this show. And, when I asked Amelia about roles, she said that they need people our age. Hmm...
