A good day
I had a nice day today. Got up early. I'm working on getting up earlier and earlier to get myself back into the habit. I'm up to 8am. So I got up, did my thirty minutes of rowing exercise (day two, go me), showered, took my boys to the park. While there I got two very nice compliments. I was chatting about dogs with one older gentleman whose dog likes to play with my bowling pin toy. He told me I was good with dogs. I said "Thank you, I should hope so." Hehe, how embarrassing if someone were to tell me that my skills needed work.
Then someone else told me that she took her dogs to the nearby vet and that they had recently lost one of their associates. Well, they recommended me (even though I'm not looking) and apparently the vet said, "you're not the first person who has recommended Mandy to me." So that made me feel warm and tingly all over. Mostly tingly.
Bug - my Boston puppy foster is just a gem, but as she gets more comfortable and bold she is getting more creative. She has begun to eat the floor, which admittedly is kinda cute. Now she's all curled up in my lap sleeping away like a good pup. She gets her leg repaired tomorrow, she broke it and was given up by her previous owner because of it. People.
