I just had the most marvelous time in Columbus, I went back for the Midwest Veterinary Conference. I found that one of the things I was dreading the most, forgetting a lot of the medicine wasn't as big of an issue, things came back very fast. I got to visit with some of my closest friends and am so grateful for them. I miss having my friends in my daily life, but am so lucky that I know I will always have them in my life and that is the show of true friendship. Thank you for that.
I got to see Air Force One on my way out of Mesa, it's not painted the way I would have expected, too simple I suppose. I expected something sleeker. Obama was speaking at a school in my area about one of the housing plan things, since the Mesa market was hit extremely hard. Anyway, thought it was cool, but somewhat disappointing. I wanted like black with gold trim accents and other such nifties.
I had to say goodbye to a wonderful dog this week, Riley. She has a type of cancer that she will die from within the next two months. Saying goodbye to someone with the full knowledge that it will definitely be the last time I see her was really hard, I've never been in quite this situation before and was surprised with how much it affected me. I am glad I did get a chance to properly say goodbye however.
On the subject of the title, it was a line out of a Broadway musical that I was listening to the other day. I thought it was funny.
Lynxie wants to go to the park, so I think I will oblige. Toodles for now.
