HARA SIVA YUMMY MEAL

Vaangi Baath
3/4c basmati
1 med brinjal
4 dry red chili
2 cashews
1/2 tsp coriander seeds
1/2 tbsp urad dhal
1/2 tbsp channa dhal
pinch asofoetida
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
1 tsp salt
3 tbsp oil

Punjabi rajma

3c rajma
3 tbsp oil
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1 tsp grated ginger
1/2 tsp chopped green chili
2 medium tomatoes choppt
1/2 tsp red chili powder
1/2 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp garam masala powder
1 tsp asofoetida
1c water
4 tbsp choppt coriander leaves
+ mooore choooped cori leaves

Pakoras

1/2c besan (chickpea flour) v Wholemeal flour w bran sift outty & + polante fine polenta.
5oz warm water
1/4 tsp red pepper
3/4 tsp salt
1 tsp cumin seeds
sprig curry leaves
1 tsp mustard seeds
1 tsp asofoetida
1/2 tsp garam masala
1/2 tsp paprika
2 large potatoes
hand fresh spinach leaves
gheee for deep-fry

Aloo Dum (spicy
5 lrge aloo
4 tbsp ghee
2 bay leaves
2 cardamon
1" cinnamon
1 tsp ginger
1/2 tsp turmeric
1 tsp hing
1 tsp jeera
1/2 tsp red pepper
2 medium choppt tomato
coriander leaves fe garnish
salt --> taste

Sooji Halva

1 cup sooji
3c water
1/2c -> 1c sugar
3-4 tbspn ghee
8 cardamons
few cashews/almonds (1oz)
1oz/1 halfc raisins
pinch saffron v turmeric
