Dearest Diary,
People are talking about trouble and war again. This time it is in the North, and I do not mean here in Winter Spring. First Caeryn went to the North, but luckily she came back. Now Mr Owa is going to the North. And Mr Roshanar and Mr Alexander were here talking to Caeryn about the North. They were talking about wanting us to be soldiers and to join some kind of army of something. I do not think I want to be a soldier.
I guess if everyone else goes to the North I will go along. I do not know. Maybe I could stay in Winter Spring instead. But what if my family needs me? I am not going to worry about that right now. But what if
I borrowed one of the extra sleeping furs that I gave to Darda so that I could send it to Mr Owa. She is so teeny tiny that she will not miss if I take just one. It is very cold in the North and he will need extra fur.
