Stevie: *sighs then accidentally puts hand on box and picks it up*
Alex: "Hey hey Stevie don't open that ok, just give it to me!" *grabs for it and falls down into mud again*
Stevie: "Alex I know what this is. Why didn't you just tell me that this was in the truck?"
Alex: "Because I...I wanted it to be perfect! I'd rented a boat. I was gonna row you across the lake to this beautiful spot in the hills where I'd organsied a private chef and a waiter and when we'd finished eating I was gonna give Jerry the knot."
Stevie: "Who?"
Alex: "You know, Jerry the waiter! The guy the cop rang, he saved our necks."
Stevie: *nods slowly*
Alex: "He was gonna give you a glass of champagne and in the bottom was..."
Stevie: "Hold on. So...you made us...you made us walk for hours, you stole the car, you talked your way around the cops, we spent the night in the truck now you've scrambled around on your hands and knees in mud...*pause*...cowshit *laugh* just to keep this a secret?"
Alex: "Don't rub it in will ya?"
Stevie: "Alex that's the most romantic thing I've ever heard!"
Alex: "Really?"
Stevie: "Really."
Alex: "Hall. I'll chop your wood for you if you let me...no no I mean I'll let you ask me to chop it. Hell you can chop it, stuff it I don't understand any of that crap. I don't!"
Stevie: *is laughing and crying at the same time*
Alex: "I love you. *puts ring on finger (covered in mud)* I really love you. Will you marry me?"
