rowan_syngwyn and vyseryn are, truly, hardcore.

They're currently toughing it out without power out at Flat Rock, rowan_syngwyn lending her hand to clear school of debris. They've got grills and a Pennsic-hardened neighbor, and have been tearing through every version of Munchkin they can find ( Read more... )

I'm sure my brothers would agree they are welcome to come to the Ski Haus at anytime.

And yay for cold and snow too, for those of us that like this weather.

I'm going to take advantage of your hospitality sometime on Sunday.

I'm glad you like this weather, but I may NEVER wish for a snow day again.

Dude. They are of course welcome to come to the House of Invisible Hedgehogs for as long as they need. I can also loan out board games. R&V, if you're reading this, how does Thursday sound for dinner?

The Scary Scary HouseTM in Hillsboro is a wee bit far to drive, but we could give warmth, food, showers, and a place to sleep for a night if there's nothing closer available.

This is awesome. If it looks like we are going to be stuck for much longer, we are going to become vagabonds, so I'll let you know what is what by Friday.

Thank You!

I would hope they know that Hotel Pierce is always open to all of my friends (ask Charlie and Steve and George and Claudia and JJ and Cathy and Bren and Phil and Torrey and Jim and... well, you get the idea) and the guest rooms both have queen sized beds. The drive to CT could be a bit rough, but if they want to get away from it all, it's a great place to stay.

Pets are welcome if they think they can get along with Sasha.

Thank you so much... if this keeps up much longer, we're going to take up travelling, so stay tuned!

Oh yeah, for the record, beside being pet friendly, our accomodations feature multiple bathrooms, wireless internet, a full kitchen, warm cozy piano lounge and a fireplace. The staff is friendly and accomodating and there's a marvelous cook on premises. :-)

Just got power back at our place last night, although school is cancelled through this week, at the earliest. Other towns adjoining us are cancelled until AFTER Winter Vacation.
I'm in NH, or I'd offer warm food and hot showers... But I'll make the offer anyhow. I can make chocolate chip cookies....

Yup. Our headmaster finally called school for the rest of this week. Given the fact that he wanted me to put on a concert if we had school on Friday, I'm thankful at this point.

This has been amazing. I have never had to live through something like this, so I am trying desperately to look at it as a learning experience.

We may swing through for the cookies... my Hoosband adores Chocolate Chip Cookies! :o)

Thank you so much... heaven knows you have enough to get back on track.

Sounds good, hun. Let me know by email, as my cell died in the snow... I'm in & out of the house tomorrow, as I'm doing chair massages for the PSNH Call Center Staff tomorrow.
