Goooooood morning all.
Summer's good, as always -- I had three or four whirlwind 45-hour weeks at Nordstroms, earning a cool paycheck and learning more than I ever wanted to know about t.b.d. apparel. Hopefully I'll work some more during the school year, but we shall see.
Arabian NIIIIIIIGHTS is going well, we just finished our third week of rehearsal, meaning that we're headed into tech next week. It is so different from all the other Bathhouse shows I've done, but I still wake up excited to drive to Greenlake and stumble through my Perfect Love dance (slash PG-rated striptease). It'll be a good show, I think, or at least entertaining. Also, this is probably the last show I'll do at the Bathhouse, unless by some fluke we end up pulling off a senior show.
Speaking of, Writer 1272 was... brilliant. I tried to write something sappy to say at your cast party, but it hasn't so much worked out yet.
You are all lovely. Thank you so much.
P.S. COLLEGE APPLICATIONS ARE ONLINE WHAT THE HELL I AM NOT READY TO FIGURE OUT WHAT I WANT TO DO WITH MY LIFE
[EDIT:
Had I the heavens' embroidered cloths,
Enwrought with golden and silver light,
The blue and the dim and the dark cloths
Of night and light and the half light,
I would spread the cloths under your feet:
But I, being poor, have only my dreams;
I have spread my dreams under your feet;
Tread softly because you tread on my dreams.
