[Hello, Adstringendum. Boy, have we got a present for you.]
[It starts off with an eardrum-bustingly loud wail, unleashed by a boy on camera with a big forehead, an angular face, a narrow, suspicious pair of gray eyes and a swath of carrot-orrange pompadour-style hair.]
GODDAMMIT URAMESHI! I FUCKIN' KILLED MYSELF FOR YOUR SORRY ASS AND THIS IS WHAT I

Kuwabara-kun! [Those wounds--what on Earth happened?!
And Kurama is already on his way towards that reiki.] I'm coming, stay there.

[Face is now really really close to the screen. Stupid newfangled mobiles--!]
Don't tell me Toguro killed you guys, too!

Oh. No, please don't tell him-- The video now is moving, and it's not really focused on anything. Kurama is running, given how fast things are moving by. Sorry for the vertigo effect, Kuwabara, but he doesn't really want you to see his face right now.]
Kuwabara-kun, you're not dead. I'll explain more in a few minutes. You mentioned Toguro, did he...?
Reply
[He frowns, looks down at his chest. And then seems genuinely surprised.]
...eh. He didn't hit any vitals...?
[...yep, completely forgetting your question about Toguro.]

Kuwabara-kun!
[And then he's all business. Their happy reunion can be later, when Kuwabara isn't about to bleed out. He doesn't sound panicked at all, though the look in his green eyes suggests he's at least worried.] There are healers here, I'll call for one.

Kurama... what... where are we, if we ain't dead?

He flips his hair back over his shoulder and out of the way, at the same time procuring a seed from somewhere, as usual. Something like a small aloe plant grows in his hand within a few seconds. He snaps one leaf in two; a clear liquid squeezes easily from it. Kurama unties the pink sash at his waist--for now, it will have to do for a bandage.
Working quickly, he methodically snaps each leaf and works the clear liquid into a concentrated part of the sash, roughly the size of the wounds in Kuwabara's torso. He folds it so the damp part is facing out, and he holds it up.]
Hold still--it will sting for a moment, but it will help. [He reaches to press the cloth firmly to Kuwabara's chest, both to discourage the bleeding and make sure the liquid comes in contact with the wounds.Someone's coming to help--for now, this should slow the bleeding if not stop it ( ... )

She lands softly a few feet away from the two young men.]
Shuichi. [A nod in greeting. She walks closer to them and kneels down next to Kuwabara, trying to assess the extent of his injuries.] Hi. I'm Raven.

Kurama! That damn thing hurts more than the--
[...oh wait, another pretty girl. This place is full of pretty girls, what. Kuwabara looks at her, boggled, because--]
--were you flying?!
[...of course, this is Kuwabara's primary concern. But he can sense something off about her--she has some strange sort of demonic aura...?]
[He's also a little thrown off by Kurama's human alias, but decides to remian confused. Well... if Kurama trusted this really pretty strange flying chick...]
[[ooc: permissions post, please, Lenneth? c:]]

[Raven looks at Kuwabara in the most reassuring way she can muster.]
First, I'm gonna take away the pain and then I'll use magic to heal you the wounds. Is that alright?
[There was something about Kuwabara, a kind of increased sensitivity... An empath? But apart from that, he seemed pretty human, so there was no reason for him to react badly to her magic.]
[[ooc: Done!]]

Kurama moves more to the side of Kuwabara - out of the way - so Raven can work. He offers her a grateful smile.] Thank you, Raven-san.

[Pause. And then he goes from baffled to peeved in five seconds flat.]
...but does anyone mind explaining what the fuck is going on?

[She brushes his hand with her own, and the pain passes on from here to her, before subsiding completely. Maybe this would help him calm down so she can proceed with the healing.] There. Now tell me when you're ready?

[With effort and an utterly put-upon sigh, he closes his eyes and clamps his mouth shut. Though he'll never admit it, he's still relatively freaked out. This place--plus the events leading up to it--kind of does that to you.]
