Let me just tell you all about my day, okay? Because it was fabulous~ 8DDD
My mom and I visited my grandmother today. We took her to the dentist and then the plan was to go shopping for a little while. Like, maybe an hour or so. My nana's got some sort of autoimmune disease that acts like
myasthenia gravis, so she feels worn out all the time. Anyway, we weren't going to stay out for more than an hour or so, so we had to make every trip count.
First off (after the dentist anyway and a consignment shop where no one bought anything), we headed to Cato. Which I should never be allowed to enter because I always find a shit-ton of stuff there. But luckily they were having a massive sale. XD;; This is what I ended up buying:
This skirt is in fact as loud as it looks, but I couldn't pass it up. Plus, IT'S PINK AND BLACK AND PURPLE~ -unsightly drooling-
Caitlin has a thing for zipper flowers. I blame Kingdom Hearts. XD;;
I don't know why this came out so blurry, but I'm too lazy to take a better picture. Sorry, guys, use your imagination. XD;;
THIS DRESS. I LOVE IT SO MUCH IT HURTS~
Then we ate lunch at a little hole-in-the-wall Greek place called
Cafe Creperi. We decided on gyros all around, and I of course asked for extra goat cheese on mine, because I have an insane love for goat cheese. XD;; And they put a sort of garlic and cheese sauce mixture thing on it that was REALLY FRICKING DELICIOUS. They reminded me of surviving on
Döner kebabs for nearly all of nine days while in Berlin with my mom, because they're basically the same thing. Except Döner kebabs are about twice as big as American gyros and a heck of a lot tastier. XD;;
After that we stopped at a uniform place to find me some more scrubs for school. No such luck. Then we headed to Marshall's where I bought these lovelies, presented to you in one handy little space-saving pic:
Nana wanted to go to Kohl's, because they were supposed to be having some massive sale today, according to my aunt. They weren't, but Nana found a skirt and blouse combo that she liked. So that was cool. My mom found some shoes she liked, and while she was waffling over which ones to buy, I wandered over to the men's graphic tees and found these:
I'm a complete Angry Birds addict, so I went for this straight away. I didn't end up buying it, because I found this:
I think I made the right decision. XD;;
I immediately thought of Hannah when I saw this, so I hurried and snapped a picture before we left.
We ended up running into my aunt, my cousin, and her daughter at Kohl's. Viv's got every store credit card you can think of, and a purse full of coupons, so she put everyone's clothes on her card and got like an extra 30% off it all. Sweet~
And to end the day, we stopped at some more uniform places and consignment shops, continuing the search for scrubs. You'd be surprised at how hard the ones I need are to find. I know I was. -_-" Anyway, I got 2 tops at this once place, and then on the way home, we went my Uniform City, which is the only place I know of that for sure would have the pants I needed. So now I'm just waiting on my sleeve patches to get here and I'll be all ready for clinic in August. d--^_^--b
And now I'm back home. I'm hoping to get at least one thing done fandom-wise and post it either tonight or tomorrow. We'll see how that goes. And speaking of home, I cleaned and rearranged my room the other day, and finally got all my wall-pretties hung up.
And I really hope all of those kanji are correct, since I'd hate to learn later on that I've had something else hanging on my wall all the while. But oh, well. They came from the Dollar Store, so it's not like I'm out too much anyway. XD;;
