“Yuffie, why are you calling me at…three in the morning?”
“Well, I missed you.”
“I’m starting home at sunrise.”
“Still missed you. You’ve been gone for eighty million days.”
“It's been four, and I missed you too, Yuffie. I’m sorry, but Reeve-”
“I know, I know. Reeve needed your help. But I still missed you.”
“I’ll be in Edge in four hours and back home in five.”
“Again, I missed you. A lot.”
“Could you have not waited another couple of hours to tell me that, Yuffie?”
“Vince, I really missed you.”
“So you said. I’m tired, Yuffie. Please, I’ll see you in the morning. Can this not wait until then?”
“No. No. No, no, no. It, uh, it can’t.”
"What is it, then?"
“… I missed you, Vincent.”
“Yuffie-”
“Vincent, I really, really missed you.”
“Yuffie-!”
“All of you.”
“…”
“You still there?”
“You called me at three in the morning because you…?”
“Badly. Very badly. Insanely badly. It’s so bad that I can’t sleep. So, I was hoping that you would, um, help me take care of it.”
“Over the phone?"
"Yep."
"Yuffie…”
“Yeah, Vince?”
“I’ll see you in the morning.”
“Yuffie? I’m home. Where are you?”
“Oh. It’s you.”
“Yes. And I’m home. For good.”
“You hung up on me last night.”
“This morning.”
“You hung up on me.”
“I’m sorry, Yuffie, but I was tired and-”
“Bedroom, mister. Right now.”
“Yes, ma’am.”
