ahhh home again...
i'm still in lake geneva enjoying my vacation, but tomarrow i have to go back to portland and i am dreading it. i have had a great time being home again, and i wish that i could stay....more than anything. i've had dreams all week that i miss my plane or there is bad weather and my flight is cancelled. i don't think that my subconsious is being very subtle. i do have to admit that i'm hoping maybe one of the dreams was a look into the future, but after constant visits to weatherchannel.com i doubt it. it was great to hang out with my family. the kids are getting so big. i watched them for a couple days while my sister was at work and it was great. i really do miss them. it was also wonderful to see ted, sarah, and erica. we rocked in the new year at kareokee kid, and i have to say it is good to see that it wasn't just in my head...kareokee in madison really does blow the socks off of kareokee portland style. but then again i guess that is just my opinion. god i wish i didn't have to get on that plane tomarrow. at least kali will be out there to visit in a week.
