New lens: 50 mm

It was kind of unplanned, but suddenly I decided I wanted a new lens for my camera and got one. It's a 50mm lens and so far it's been great working with it. I'm still getting used to not being able to zoom. With doll photography I zoom in for close ups most of the time, but this lens forces me to do more full body shots. One of the reasons I do close ups is to not having to deal with a decent back ground, but an aperture up to 1.8 offers new options to play with backgrounds.
So far playing with my new lens has been fun.
