Hi EVERYONE!
God it feels good to have internet back. My Verizon DSL was knocked out and it took them like a month to fix it. Its summer time, I have nothing to do up until next Saturday (departure to Germany!) so I was finding things to waste my time on. Damn I dont know how many of your posts I missed but I hope everyones alright.
Haha my niece is over this scorching Cali weekend and made me crack a smile for once with this...
What I forgot to mention is that "spiky hair girl" of a niece just got a haircut. Like I didnt need more proof that this lil one was a tomboy..
I find it odd to have to change my demeanor whenever she or my little cousin are here. Honestly, if I had a life they wouldnt come over on weekends because they stick on me like cotton candy. I must admit that through them both I have overcome my lack of affection or understanding for kids and children. They are a pain in the bootay but I've learned to adapt myself and just LISTEN to them. They both tell me so much and even get into deep conversations of their lives and feelings. I try and help and offer them a window or an escapade their parents or even brothers and sisters cant provide. Give them a childhood that when they look back on they can get a warm sensation.
I must confess that for the past two weeks I have been in contact with the first girl I ever laid eyes on. I mean the first girl I felt genuine feelings for. The friend that brought us together just came back in my life since he made a big mistake and is currently being charged with a felony. Because of his swift return I thought of her, asked about her and managed to get in contact. Shes now 20 years old, a single mom but hardworking. Lives on her own and also supports her younger brother. Her dads a douchebag and parents are split. Every time I heard of her I had warm sensation run through me. Shes grown up now and I asked her out to lunch( I mentioned I was leaving to Germany soon haha as an incentive I guess). We spent almost 3 hrs chatting and I now go back to were I started with this...I must confess I still have feelings for her. Her having a kid will surely make things complicated if I do get close but hey I havent had feelings for some time. I asked her out to watch a movie this upcoming week. She said she would get back to me and in all honesty I think that would set me in a pretty good mood if it goes down up until I depart to Germany. Most of all I want to be a friend and someone she can talk to in her complicated life. If anything happens it just simply happens.
